Product Description

How Does Scheriproct work?

Scheriproct contains two active ingredients, prednisolone and cinchocaine. The two active ingredients work together in a double-pronged approach to relieve the pain and inflammation of your piles.

Prednisolone is a type of pile medication that is designed to reduce inflammation in the affected area. Cinchocaine works alongside prednisolone as a local anaesthetic to help manage the pain and discomfort of your piles. Local anaesthetic works by numbing the affected area for a short period.

How Do I Use Scheriproct Suppositories?

You should always wash and sanitise your hands before and after using this medication and ensure that you have read the patient information leaflet to ensure that you are using the product correctly.

Scheriproct Suppositories are only for use inside of the anus, if you have external haemorrhoids you may want to consider using a Scheriproct ointment.

Firstly, gently clean and dry down the anus area, then remove the suppository by tearing down the perforation on the packet and removing one suppository from the strip. You should then remove the suppository from the blister pack and insert it into the anus with the round end entering first.
