Propranolol is a generic drug that is commonly used to treat a number of different conditions. Propranolol has several uses due to the effect it has on the heart and the circulation of blood around it, so it can be useful for treating a variety of conditions which are caused by issues with the heart and blood flow. Propranolol sustained relief (SR) capsules are commonly prescribed to patients to treat situational anxiety; anxiety which is brought on by certain events or situations. Propranolol SR is usually prescribed when the patient doesn’t find breathing techniques and coping mechanisms as useful as they need them to be. Situational anxiety can be a debilitating illness which can prevent people from taking part in social activities and effect their everyday life.
